Modeling in industry standard programs

Whether you’re conceptualizing a teacup or a skyscraper, a digital model can bring your project from idea to reality. All digital objects will be modeled in Rhino3D, Maya, SketchUp, Revit, or Blender and can be exported in any number of file formats, including .obj, .stl, .fbx, .3dm, .dwg, .3ds, .rvt, .blend, .skp., and more.

Preparing models for digital fabrication

One of the best reasons to have a complete 3D model of a concept is for fabrication- laser cutting or 3D printing a physical version of a digital object. Models to be 3D printed will be prepped in Meshmixer or Cura, and models to be laser cut will be prepped in Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, or any number of other vector drawing programs required to interface with a machine.

Consulting, concept and iterative design development

Digital modeling allows a variety of different iterations of a project to be generated from a few simple parameters. Knowing the specifications and needs of a client can help create a multitude of possibilities for the final design. Through iterative design modeling and design consulting, many concepts can be generated to achieve an ideal final outcome.
